Essential form security
When reviewed forms are enabled over HTTPS, a short-lived HttpOnly Secure SameSite cookie supports a signed form session. It expires after 15 minutes. WordPress may also set cookies for authenticated administrators or other site features.
Your saved preference
The cookie panel saves necessary, analytics, preference and marketing choices with a version and timestamp in this browser’s local storage for up to 12 months. Rejecting optional categories is available alongside acceptance. Reopen the panel from the footer to change your choices.
Future optional services
No optional tracking service is installed by this package. Adding one requires a separate consent-aware implementation that checks the current preference before loading. The consent event alone does not block scripts added by unrelated plugins.
Hosting and third-party changes
The operator must review hosting cookies and every additional plugin, publish the actual inventory and test consent controls before launch. Browser storage can be cleared by the visitor; local preference evidence is not a central consent ledger.
Optional Mary chat session
When you elect to use the activated AI chat, a Secure HttpOnly SameSite session cookie is created for up to 30 minutes to validate chat requests. The plugin does not use localStorage to save the conversation. Recent messages remain in the active page memory. Closing the chat panel hides it; Clear chat removes its displayed conversation and unchecks the sharing permission. No OpenAI browser SDK or third-party tracking script is installed; AI requests are proxied through the WordPress server.
