Merchant QR Payments

PAYME / Concept under development

One reusable QR identifier for a merchant, with the amount entered for each purchase.

Illustrative AI-generated scene. No customer relationship or institutional partnership is implied.

A reusable identity, a specific payment

The proposed code identifies the merchant rather than encoding a different amount for every sale. The customer checks the merchant, enters the price and reviews the request. Authorisation belongs to a supported provider channel.

What makes the concept work

Merchant onboarding, QR standards, bank compatibility and settlement confirmation must be agreed with partners. The merchant display needs tamper checks, and the experience should show clear beneficiary details before authorisation.

Confirm through trusted status

Neither a customer screen nor a screenshot should be treated as final proof of payment. PAYME would require authenticated provider updates and reconciliation rules. The sample QR below is deliberately incapable of accepting money.
